ADMISSION POLICIES

Enrollment

To enroll, the application packet must be completed with the required signatures of Parent/Guardian and the required Registration Fee of $180.00 paid. This non-refundable fee must be paid to guarantee enrollment. We are currently enrolling for the 2017/18 school year and have already begun filling spaces! There are only 20 students per classroom and we have a low teacher:student ratio. Spaces are limited! Call us today at (505) 892-5105 for enrollment information and to arrange a tour!

 

Age 

In order to attend Early Learning Preschool, a child must be completely toilet trained* and three (3) years old for the pre-school class or four (4) years old for the pre-K class as of September 1st of the year to attend classes beginning in August. Exceptions to this rule will be on a case-by-case basis as approved by the Board of Directors. A child whose third birthday falls after September 1st will have to wait to enroll until the month after their third birthday has taken place. 

*Please always send an extra change of clothing in a backpack when the child attends class. 

 

Immunizations 

In order to attend the Early Learning Preschool, all immunizations must be current and complete. A copy of your child's immunization record must be provided with the completed Enrollment Contract. The following are the state-mandated required immunizations: 

- (4) DTP 

- (3) Polio vaccines 

- (3) Hepatitis B 

- (2) Hepatitis A 

- (1) MMR (2 required for students age 4) 

- (3) HIB 

- (1) Varicella (chicken pox) or reliable history of illness (2 required for students age 4)

 

Cancellation of Enrollment by Parent/Guardian

We require a two-week written notice prior to cancellation of your child's enrollment in ELP, whether or not the child attends school during that two-week period. No Refund will be issued for Mid-Month withdrawals.
